The Children of
Mother Goose
The Village
Far away, in a special place, tucked in the hearts of all children, is the land of Mother Goose.
The sky is blue by day and full of twinkling stars at night. A brook runs through the village, babbling over little rocks and stones. The cottages and farms are warm and welcoming, and in the center of it all is a gathering place for the children. Streets are filled with laughter and the sounds of children at play.
The Bakery Shop is a favorite, filling the air with the smell of freshly baked cookies, cakes, and pies. The Sweet Shop is full of candy treats; their specialty, of course, is lemon drops.
But the most special thing about this place is the children; they are all friends with each other and special in their own way. They live in a fairy tale; we all lived there too when we were young. If we close our eyes and listen to the echoes of our childhood, we can find the way back to that special time of life in the Land of Mother Goose.
